Trick or Treat

We kicked off Halloween by going to our neighborhood parade.  The boys enjoyed the fire trick:

I was trying to take Elliott's picture, but he was far more interested in the little girl in the stroller next to him.

Cold little boys

Andrew saying he wants to go home, Elliott signing "all done"

Their first piece of candy was from the fireman!

Andrew went to one house, was cold, tripped, and asked to go home so we did.

I thought, well, they will have more fun next year.  And then we went inside, warmed up, had something to eat..

and then Andrew was ready to rock.

Then he went to every house on our street.  He didn't care that it was cold.  He held his bucket.  Rang the door bell.  Said Trick-or-treat and thank you.  And usually adding, "I have cars at my house!"  He liked the "salty" house (the one with the fog, I guess he got a little confused) and our neighbor showed him the fog machine.

Glad to see he had a blast!
