Big boy bed update

Andrew is doing very well. He is still a little uncomfortable with the change at times, so he prefers to sleep in his crib about 2/3 of the time. When it's time for bed, we ask him where he wants to sleep. Sometimes he says he wants to sleep in his big boy bed, but then gets nervous and changes his mind right away. The times he has chosen to sleep in his big boy bed, we've had absolutely zero issues...he reads in bed until he is tired, and then sleeps until it's time to get up for school at 7 am, or at naps he sleeps from 12 - 3 or 4 pm (school is wearing him out.)

I have noticed that Andrew tends to be nervous to sleep in his bed when he isn't as tired. I think, in that instance, he prefers his crib because he likes to sit in the corner against the slats and read. I think he likes the security of the crib boundaries.

I've enjoyed letting Andrew lead the way on this transition and I'm proud of him for being such a big boy. Once Andrew fully transitions, we will sell the crib and move his desk back in. I'm looking forward to gaining some space back!
